Wolski Studio is a Warsaw-based interior architecture practice led by interior architect Grzegorz Wolski. We specialise in luxury residential interior design for private residences, large homes and high-end apartments.
We work with clients who already own a property, have a completed architectural design or are in the process of building and preparing for a comprehensive interior fit-out.
We create coherent, individual interiors designed to retain their relevance beyond changing trends. Our process extends from functional analysis and the interior concept to materials, furnishings, interior design documentation and guidelines for discipline-specific consultants.
An interior conceived as a whole
In a carefully considered interior, no decision should be made in isolation.
The layout affects the lighting and the way services are coordinated. Materials must respond to the proportions of the space. Bespoke joinery, furniture and architectural details should all develop from a single concept.
We therefore approach the interior as architecture: an ordered structure in which function, light, material and detail support one another.
The aim is not a short-lived visual effect. A successful project creates a natural and comfortable setting that retains its quality for many years.
The projects we design
Private residences and large homes
Wolski Studio specialises in the interiors of large private homes and residences, including properties exceeding 300 m².
At this scale, the hierarchy of rooms, circulation, sightlines and the relationship between representative, private and leisure areas become particularly important.
The scope may also include studies, extensive dressing rooms, guest suites, wellness areas, home gyms and media rooms.
Homes with completed architectural plans or already under construction
We work with clients who have a completed architectural design for their home, as well as with those whose property is already under construction.
The most appropriate time to begin a conversation is when the layout and floor area are known, the documentation is available and the client can provide an approximate programme for the next stages.
This allows us to discuss a specific scope of work, a realistic design schedule and the solutions that can still be implemented in the building.
Existing homes requiring comprehensive transformation
We also design interiors for existing homes that are to be remodelled, modernised or adapted to the needs of new owners.
We analyse the existing property and identify the functional and design changes that will make the best use of its potential.
High-end apartments
We design apartments in which the quality of the interior comes not only from materials and furnishings, but above all from a considered layout, carefully composed lighting and individually designed elements.
Within the existing structure of the building, we look for solutions that make the most of its architecture, views, scale and natural light.
When to begin working with us
It is best to begin discussing the project when the property has defined basic parameters and a realistic schedule.
This may be:
- a house with a completed architectural design;
- a building already under construction;
- a property being prepared for a comprehensive fit-out;
- an apartment before handover by the developer;
- an existing house or apartment planned for substantial remodelling.
Based on the available documentation, floor area, current stage and anticipated programme, we can define a suitable scope of work.
An interior design project may also begin at a more advanced stage of construction. In that situation, we first assess the existing conditions and identify the decisions that can still be influenced in a meaningful way.

Review of the property and your requirements
We review the building documentation, the current stage of work, the planned programme and the way in which the household will use the space.
The conversation addresses both practical requirements and the desired character of the interior.
Functional planning
We develop the organisation of rooms, circulation and the relationships between the different zones of the home.
The decisions made at this stage have a fundamental influence on everyday comfort throughout the residence or apartment.
Interior concept and visualisations
We create a coherent concept encompassing proportions, materials, colour, lighting, furnishings and the character of the architectural detail.
Visualisations allow the client to see the future interior before implementation begins and to approve the principal solutions with confidence.
Materials, furniture and lighting
We select finishing materials, lighting, furniture, textiles and other elements of the interior.
Each choice follows the agreed concept and should contribute to the architecture of the interior as a whole.
Bespoke elements
We design custom joinery, stonework, metalwork and other elements developed specifically for the property.
This preserves coherence wherever standard products would not respond adequately to the scale or character of the design.
Interior design documentation
We prepare interior design documentation and guidelines arising from the approved concept, including the locations of relevant connection points and fixtures within the designed space.
These materials provide the basis for detailed specialist designs prepared by the appropriate discipline-specific consultants. The precise scope of documentation is agreed individually for each project.
Design oversight during implementation
Our involvement may continue during implementation in the form of design oversight.
Wolski Studio then remains engaged in the process, reviewing the work for consistency with the approved concept within the interior design scope, clarifying the documentation for contractors and participating in decisions that require design judgement.
The scope of this service, the frequency of site visits and the way we work with the implementation team are agreed according to the scale, schedule and location of the project. This helps preserve continuity between the design and the completed interior.
Why scale matters
Designing a large home is not a matter of repeating solutions used in smaller interiors.
As the scale increases, proportions, rhythm, hierarchy and the way people move between different areas become increasingly important. Floor area alone does not guarantee comfort or a sense of space.
A well-designed residence should function as a coherent whole, from the entrance and representative rooms to the most private areas of the home.
What high-end interior design means to us
A substantial budget and expensive materials do not in themselves create an exceptional interior.
Its quality depends above all on proportion, consistency and the ability to omit elements that do not serve the composition as a whole. Materials should be used with purpose, and details should arise from the construction and character of the space.
We do not design around seasonal trends or repeat ready-made formulas. Every interior is developed individually in response to the building, its surroundings and the way its residents live.
